Our Activities Are Back!

Hi All!

I hope you had a fantastic summer!

Since it's September, I would like to let you know that we are back with our Book Club meetings both in Donostia and in Irun. Below you have a table with dates and titles chosen previously. Also, please remember it's the last month to nominate a book for the next year, as I will have to present the titles at the library very soon.

In October we will be starting with another activity: GAMES FOR ADULTS IN ENGLISH. We've been doing it previously in Irun (Ambigüinglish) and we are starting this October in Donostia (FUNGLISH). If you want to practice speaking, if you have ever felt shy when using English, if you simply want to improve your skills: you have to come! It's a unique way to learn without getting stressed, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Below posters for the month of October for San Sebastian (5.10, at 18:45, San Jeronimo street) and Irun (20.10, 18:00, CBA library). I hope you will join us there!

Now, Donostia Book Club starts already this month: 11.09 at 18:45 I hope to see you, as always at San Jeronimo street. We are reading "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess. The language is weird on purpose, don't get scared. Most of the editions have a little dictionary at the end to make it a bit easier. There is also Stanley Kubrick's film, if you would like to compare it with the novel. If you have problems with finding the book, let me know!
