As you already know, in April we will have a special guest with us: María Antonia de Miquel, who under the pseudonym Elena Rius translated Sylvia Plath's novel, "The Bell Jar". Here you have a bit more information about María Antonia, in case you would like to prepare better for the meeting:

María Antonia graduated in Hispanic Philology and Translation and Interpretation. She has developed a broad professional career in the world of editing, and has performed as the literary director in publishing houses like Edhasa, Destino, Gredos or Alba. She is currently a professor at the Ateneo School of Writing in Barcelona. She is the author of two manuals on writing: "How to Write a Historical Novel" (Cómo escribir una novela histórica, 2013) and "Read Better to Write Better" (Leer mejor para escribir mejor, 2016). She has also been a co-ordinator of several reading clubs and, under the pseudonym Elena Rius, writes on the blog Notes for Curious Readers (Notas para lectores curiosos: http://notasparalectorescuriosos.blogspot.com.es), from which comes her recent book The Reader Syndrome (El síndrome del lector, Trama Editorial, 2017).
